Calarasi - About
Caralasi Divin wine and brandy house is Moldova's oldest. Its traditions of production, as established in 1896 by David Zaharievich Sarjishvili, the pioneer of wine-production in Tsarist Russia, are continuing to develop even today. Its location in the Codru area of Moldova (between the cities of Chisinau and Ungheni) and its favourable soils and climate (close to the conditions to be found in the province of Cognac, France) allow production of unique high-quality products. It is here that Moldova's largest reserve of matured brandy spirits can be found – the result of the diligent work of the house's producers and a passport to the house's future success. The many international prizes awarded to the house's products represents an acknowledgement of their quality. The Calarisi Divin brand is a maker's guarantee of quality!
The enterprise's core activity is production, bottling and sale of brandies, with production volume amounting to 100 thousand dl. of brandy per year. Calarisi Divin's brandies are produced from matured Moldovan brandy spirits aged 3 to 30 years. Great taste, fine colours ranging from dark gold to dark amber, consistent high quality and affordable prices ensure that brandies bearing the Calarasi trademark continue to enjoy high popularity among consumers.
Divin (divine) is a name denoting strong brandies that can only be produced in Moldova
